The series follows a vampire attempting to navigate everyday life while dealing with the complications of being undead.

HELENE — Lead
(Female, African American, playing age 25–35)
A 200-year-old vampire with a dry sense of humor who has become remarkably casual about being undead.
HARPER — Lead
(Male, playing age 25–35)
An aspiring writer with an observant, grounded personality who finds himself pulled into increasingly unusual situations.
STEWARD — Supporting
(Male, 50+)
A department store manager with the polished confidence and relentless charm of a stereotypical used-car salesman.
ROGER — Supporting
(Male, 50+)
A paranoid, offbeat military veteran who is suspicious of nearly everyone and absolutely convinced his instincts are right.
RYAN — Supporting
(Female, playing age 25–35)
A nurse with an easygoing, practical personality who tends to stay calm even when things around her get strange.
